Some Carbondale, Illinois SNCC members take a moment to "bless" the Thompson Tank in Jackson, Mississippi. The tank, shown here parked in front of the city police station was available for special duty work. Moments later a "friendly" city policeman warned us to move along quickly if we valued our lives.
